Half a World Away is a wonderful YA book by Cynthia Kadohata – I read it in a few hours. I recommend it to anyone who wants to truly understand some of the challenges a child may experience after adoption at an older age from another culture and an orphanage. Great for your middle school and older children, and great for their parents too! Full of insights and care! (Deb)
